Our ceramics students brought creativity to life as they explored the “Frozen Pond” glaze technique during first trimester. By layering glazes and experimenting with texture and depth, students created stunning trays that beautifully capture the look of icy movement and dimension.

We are especially proud to share that one student piece is currently featured in the MAEA Region 3 Art Show at Washtenaw Community College, with the possibility of advancing to the state level. Experiences like this allow students to see their artistic growth extend beyond the classroom walls and into the wider community.
