You may know Del as a classmate from the class of  1961. You may know Del as an APS teacher, coach, principal, or superintendent. However, in addition to all of that, for 40 years Del Cochran was The Voice of the Maples, announcing Maple football games under the Friday night lights. On October 25th a pregame ceremony was held to dedicate the Maple Stadium press box in Del’s name. Family and friends gathered to honor a true Adrian Maple. For ALL that Del has done for APS in the last 60 years, this is an endearing tribute.
