The 5th Maple Blues Blast dinner auction benefitting APS students was another great success netting $43,000. The proceeds are split equally between the Adrian Schools Educational Foundation and the Maple Fans Club. Each organization uses the funds to provide grants to APS classroom teachers and coaches. This year the ASEF was able to award close to $89,000 in classroom grants, while the Fans Club gave $35,000 in grant support to coaches. The event draws about 300 guests including parents, APS personnel and many alumni. It is scheduled for the last Saturday of February.
